Our commitment to accessibility
At RagSweet Kitten Cattery we want everyone, regardless of their abilities, to be able to get to know our cattery and our Ragdoll cats. That is why we are committed to keeping this website accessible and to improving it continuously.
Conformance status
This website has been designed following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as well as the harmonised European standard EN 301 549. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and easier to use for everyone.
Measures we have taken
- Correct semantic structure and heading hierarchy.
- Alternative text on the images of our cats and shows.
- Sufficient colour contrast and legible font sizes.
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Generous touch targets and a responsive design for mobile, tablet and desktop.
- Respect for the system's reduced-motion preference.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. In particular, the interactive map shown on the contact page relies on a third-party map provider whose tiles we do not control. We are working to minimise these limitations. If you come across any content that is not accessible (for example, an image without a description or a document that is hard to read), we would be grateful if you would let us know so we can correct it as soon as possible.
Compatibility
This website is designed to work with recent versions of the Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge browsers, as well as with the most common assistive technologies and screen readers.
